Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. You will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s safari circuit.

• The Experience: Use this day to decompress from your travels, settle into the African rhythm, and prepare for the adventure ahead.
• Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at a comfortable lodge in Arusha.

The Rift Valley Escarpment

After breakfast, your safari officially begins with a drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, this park is a scenic gem.

• The Experience: You will enjoy an afternoon/evening game drive through the groundwater forests and out onto the lake shores.
• Wildlife Highlights: Keep your eyes peeled for the famous tree-climbing lions and vast troops of baboons. The lake itself is often painted pink with thousands of flamingos.
• Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at a lodge/campsite in Manyara/Karatu.

Journey to the Endless Plains

Today, we head towards the iconic Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you up the crater highlands and down into the vast plains that inspired the Lion King.

• The Experience: Enjoy a scenic en-route game drive as you travel toward the park gate. You will witness the landscape change from hilly woodlands to the signature flat savannas of the Serengeti.
• Wildlife Highlights: Spot giraffes, zebras, and antelopes grazing along the roadside as you approach your camp.
• Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at a lodge/tented camp inside the Serengeti.

Chasing the Migration

Dedicate a full day to the wonders of the Serengeti. Depending on the time of year, your guide will drive you to the areas with the highest density of wildlife, aiming to locate the Great Migration.

• The Experience: A flexible schedule allows for morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch in the bush.
• Wildlife Highlights: Witness massive herds of wildebeest and zebras, and the predators that follow them—lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

The Big Cat Capital

Spend a second full day exploring the Central Serengeti (Seronera Valley). This area is famous for its year-round resident wildlife and river systems that attract high concentrations of animals.

• The Experience: Explore the kopjes (rocky outcrops) where lions often rest and scan the horizon.
• Wildlife Highlights: This is prime leopard territory. Look up into the sausage trees; you might see a leopard lounging with its kill.
• Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at your Serengeti lodge/camp.

The Cradle of Mankind

We bid farewell to the Serengeti and drive southeast toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

• The Experience: En route, we stop at the Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world, where fossils of early humans were discovered.
• Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at a lodge/campsite on the Crater Rim or in nearby Karatu.

Into the Caldera

Today, you descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera.

• The Experience: Enjoy a half-day game drive in this natural amphitheater. The crater walls create a unique, self-contained ecosystem teeming with life.
• Wildlife Highlights: This is your best chance to spot the rare Black Rhino. You will also see dense populations of lions, hyenas, and older bull elephants with massive tusks.
• Accommodation: Return to your lodge/campsite for dinner and relaxation.

Land of Giants

After breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds.

• The Experience: Enjoy an afternoon game drive along the Tarangire River, the primary water source that draws animals from miles around during the dry season.
• Wildlife Highlights: Tarangire is known for having one of the highest concentrations of elephants in Tanzania.
• Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp within or near Tarangire.

The Final Game Drive

Embark on an early morning game drive in Tarangire to catch the wildlife at their most active before the heat of the day sets in.

• The Experience: Soak in the final views of the African bush and the majestic baobabs.
• Departure: We then drive back to Arusha and proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight home, marking the end of an unforgettable journey.
