Departing from the lodge after breakfast, we embark on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Bird enthusiasts will be enthralled by the park’s diverse avian population, including majestic flamingos, circling birds of prey, and the vibrant lilac-breasted roller. Waterbirds abound, providing ample opportunities for observation. Our journey includes a visit to the hippo pool for an encounter with these magnificent creatures. Later in the evening, we head to Karatu for overnight accommodations.

Begin your day with an early breakfast before embarking on a thrilling journey into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, marvel at its vastness—nearly 600 meters deep and approximately 20 kilometers wide—home to a spectacular array of wildlife. During your game drive, encounter the renowned Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—as well as Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, mountain reedbucks, and an array of bird species. Keep an eye out for spotted hyenas, elusive wild dogs, and the park’s diverse avian inhabitants. After a delightful picnic lunch amidst the wildlife, conclude your exploration of the crater and journey back to Arusha in the afternoon.
