Your adventure begins after breakfast with a drive to Tarangire National Park. This park is a hidden gem, famous for its high density of elephants and spectacular landscapes.
As we enter the park, you will be greeted by the sight of ancient Baobab trees towering over the savannah—some of these giants are over 300 years old. We will spend the full day exploring the Acacia woodlands and the banks of the Tarangire River, which acts as a magnet for wildlife during the dry season. Watch for large herds of elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and predators like lions and leopards hiding in the tall grass.
After breakfast, we depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The journey itself is spectacular, taking us up and through the cool rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you can glimpse the misty crater rim.
As we descend on the other side, the landscape opens up into the “Endless Plains” of the Serengeti. We will head toward the central Seronera area, known for the Seronera River, a vital water source that attracts high concentrations of wildlife year-round. Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, spotting lions on kopjes (rocky outcrops) and herds grazing in the golden light.
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti. We start early to catch the most active wildlife moments. The park is teeming with buffalo, leopards, lions, and cheetahs, along with over 500 species of birds.
Your guide will take you to different habitats, from the open savannah to the riverine forests. Depending on the season, you might witness the Great Migration, or simply enjoy the resident big cats stalking their prey. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness before continuing our game drive until sunset, soaking in the raw beauty of Africa.
We start the day with a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, giving you one last chance to spot any animals you may have missed. After a hot lunch, we begin our journey back toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
This drive offers stunning panoramic views of the rift valley and the rolling plains. We will arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim in the evening. Here, you can relax at your lodge and enjoy dinner while gazing out over the caldera, anticipating the adventure that awaits tomorrow.
On our final day, we descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari. This “Garden of Eden” is a self-contained ecosystem with the highest density of lions in the world.
The crater floor is bustling with activity: spot pods of hippos in the pools, black rhinos grazing (a rare treat!), and herds of zebra and wildebeest. After a memorable picnic lunch by the hippo pool, we will ascend the crater walls and begin our drive back to Arusha.
